Biography

Melody’s Echo Chamber is a French psychedelic rock band formed by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Melody Prochet. The project came to life in 2012, with Prochet collaborating with musician Kevin Parker of Tame Impala fame. Their self-titled debut album, “Melody’s Echo Chamber,” was released in 2012 to critical acclaim and garnered a dedicated following in the indie music scene.

Melody’s Echo Chamber’s music is characterized by dreamy, ethereal vocals, lush instrumental arrangements, and a blend of psychedelic rock, pop, and electronic elements. Prochet’s songwriting often explores themes of love, introspection, and the surreal, creating a unique and captivating sonic landscape for listeners to immerse themselves in.

Following the success of their debut album, Melody’s Echo Chamber continued to tour and perform at music festivals around the world. However, the band faced setbacks when Prochet suffered a serious accident in 2017, which delayed the release of their sophomore album, “Bon Voyage,” until 2018.
