Mark Lanegan (November 25, 1964, Ellensburg, Washington, U.S. – February 22, 2022, Killarney, Ireland) was an American singer, songwriter, author, and musician.
Lanegan began his musical career in 1984 as the frontman of the psychedelic grunge band [a76753]. Following the end of Screaming Trees, he became a frequent collaborator of [a56168].
Lanegan also collaborated with various artists throughout his career, including [a=Kurt Cobain], [a=Isobel Campbell], [a=Moby], [a=Unkle], [a=Soulsavers] and [a=Not Waving].
