Italian composer and conductor (Milan, Nov 28, 1913 – Rome, Jan 6, 2002), the height of his fame was between 1945-55 with the composition of several soundtracks, but his career spanned six decades (making more than 150 movies). One of the most widely known film soundtrack composers of the 20th Century for the innovative contents of his style (also for the inclusion of new instruments and the sounds of everyday life).
