Biography

Lionlimb is an indie rock band formed in 2012 by Stewart Bronaugh and Joshua Jaeger. The duo met while studying jazz at the University of Missouri and quickly bonded over their shared love of music. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres, including jazz, folk, and rock, Lionlimb’s music is characterized by its dreamy melodies, intricate arrangements, and introspective lyrics.

In 2015, Lionlimb released their debut album “Shoo” on Bayonet Records, which was met with critical acclaim and established the band as one to watch in the indie music scene. The album showcased their unique sound, blending elements of 60s pop with modern indie rock sensibilities. Songs like “Just Because” and “Turnstile” demonstrated their ability to craft catchy hooks and lush, atmospheric soundscapes.

Since then, Lionlimb has continued to release music and tour extensively, building a dedicated fan base along the way. Their sophomore album, “Surge,” was released in 2016 and further solidified their reputation as a band pushing the boundaries of indie rock. Tracks like “Maria” and “Clover” showcased their evolving sound, incorporating more experimental elements while still maintaining their signature dreamy aesthetic.

With a growing discography and a reputation for mesmerizing live performances, Lionlimb continues to captivate audiences with their thoughtful songwriting and dynamic arrangements.
