Lande Hekt is a British musician and singer-songwriter best known as the bassist and vocalist of the indie rock band Muncie Girls. Hailing from Exeter, England, Hekt formed Muncie Girls in 2012 alongside guitarist Dean McMullen and drummer Luke Ellis. The band quickly gained recognition for their captivating blend of punk, indie and pop influences, as well as Hekt’s poignant and introspective lyrics.
With Muncie Girls, Lande Hekt has released two full-length albums, “From Caplan to Belsize” in 2016 and “Fixed Ideals” in 2018, both of which received critical acclaim for their raw energy and emotional depth.
