Joe Hisaishi is a renowned Japanese composer and musician known for his work on numerous film scores, particularly those of acclaimed director Hayao Miyazaki. Hisaishi, whose real name is Mamoru Fujisawa, was born on December 6, 1950, in Nagano, Japan. He began his musical career in the 1970s as a composer for animated television series and commercials.
