Biography

HALFNOISE is an indie rock band formed in 2010 by musician and songwriter Zac Farro. Originally from Franklin, Tennessee, Farro gained recognition as the drummer for the popular rock band Paramore. However, in 2010, he decided to pursue his own musical endeavors and formed HALFNOISE as a solo project.

The band’s sound is a unique blend of indie rock, electronic, and experimental elements, drawing influences from artists such as Tame Impala, The Beatles, and Radiohead. HALFNOISE’s music is characterized by dreamy melodies, intricate rhythms, and introspective lyrics that explore themes of self-discovery, relationships, and personal growth.

Since its inception, HALFNOISE has released several EPs and albums, including “Volcano Crowe” (2012), “Sudden Feeling” (2016), and “Natural Disguise” (2019). The band has garnered a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim for their innovative sound and captivating live performances.

In addition to his work with HALFNOISE, Zac Farro has continued to collaborate with other artists and musicians, further establishing himself as a versatile and talented musician. With their evolving sound and introspective songwriting, HALFNOISE continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences with their unique brand of indie rock.
