Biography

Flasher is a Washington, D.C.-based band known for their energetic and eclectic blend of post-punk, pop, and shoegaze influences. Formed in 2016, the band consists of Taylor Mulitz (guitar, vocals), Daniel Saperstein (bass, vocals), and Emma Baker (drums).

The trio quickly gained attention in the D.C. music scene for their dynamic live performances and catchy, introspective songwriting. Their music is characterized by driving rhythms, shimmering guitar lines, and emotive vocals that explore themes of self-discovery, relationships, and societal issues.

In 2016, Flasher released their self-titled debut EP, which garnered critical acclaim and helped establish their reputation as one of the most exciting new bands in the underground music scene. They followed up with their debut full-length album, “Constant Image,” in 2018, which further solidified their standing as a band to watch.

Flasher has since toured extensively, playing shows across the United States and Europe, and gaining a dedicated fan base along the way. Their music has been praised for its infectious melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and innovative approach to blending genres.
