Cat Power is the recording/performing moniker of American singer-songwriter Chan Marshall, born 21 January 1972 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Initially the name of Marshall’s first band in Atlanta in the early 90s, “Cat Power” has since served as her stage name.
