Biography

Black Country Communion is a rock supergroup formed in 2009. The band consists of vocalist and bassist Glenn Hughes, guitarist Joe Bonamassa, drummer Jason Bonham, and keyboardist Derek Sherinian. The group’s name is a reference to the Black Country region of England, where both Hughes and Bonham have roots.

The band’s sound is a blend of hard rock, blues, and classic rock influences, with each member bringing their own unique musical background and style to the table. Their music is characterized by powerful vocals, intricate guitar work, and dynamic rhythms.

Black Country Communion released their self-titled debut album in 2010, which was met with critical acclaim and commercial success. They followed up with three more studio albums, “2” in 2011, “Afterglow” in 2012, and “BCCIV” in 2017.
