Biography

Baston is a French-Canadian band formed in Montreal, Quebec in 2016. The duo consists of vocalist and guitarist Lou-Adriane Cassidy and drummer Phil G. Smith. Together, they create a unique blend of indie rock, post-punk, and shoegaze music that has captivated audiences both in their native Canada and internationally.

Baston released their debut EP, “Primates,” in 2017, which quickly garnered critical acclaim for its raw energy and emotional intensity. Their music is characterized by Cassidy’s haunting vocals, introspective lyrics, and Smith’s dynamic drumming.
